Eighty per cent of items produced by PEL are used in systems incorporated in vehicles.

In order to meet the requirements of such a broad base of customers PEL has a computerised production scheduling system, just in time and Kanban customer schedule operational procedures, 5S, Kaizen, SMED and cellular manufacturing continuous improvement programmes.

The Leamington plant also operates 24 hours a day.
